Harley Davidson 1.4 Kw Hitachi Black Starter Motor

These starters are a high-performance version of the Shovel-head and early EVO starter. The original motors generate 0.8kW while this unit generates 1.4kW and approximately 50% higher torque and shaft speed than the original starter. It is a year-2000 motor design, so it is more compact than the original and does not require the rear bracket. Because of the higher output we recommend using 4ga cables with this starter.
